Hammerstones, smoothing stones or geofacts?

Found a whole crick bed of those water worn rocks once...musta been a village location at one time....
 

Well my answer is all the above definitely geofact ,artifacts very well could be depends do you see any marks on them or have you found them with any other artifacts great finds !!!!!
 

quartz is very hard to tell any work done on them but I can see some pecking going on a couple of them. On the big one I would have to see both sides to know if it is anything.
 

Really just hard to say even when found on a site, Unless it is bell shaped or pecked you may never know. I have found some with nutting stones but cant swear they were used. I still pick some up every now and then.

Thinking the large one is probably just a river rock and something I might paint on later ;-) As for the others one has a flat end and I can see pecking marks on it (maybe), not real sure if the other two are anything but all three small ones are real similar to what's in the local museum here. I've found a who slew of pottery shards, a flint awl and 2 possible broken knives and one Guilford point in the same spot. I'll probably just stick em in my pile of woks...just curious what you guys see!
