So we had more of that white stuff drop this weekend, but I couldn't wait any longer. I Braved the cold and went out friday, sat, and sunday for a few hours each day. Found an assortment of relics. The Chainmaille purse was a heart stopper. I got all excited and starting feeling it out, IT WAS EMPTY:BangHead:, one day I'll find a purse full of coins...... My favorite find from the weekend is the lead eagle head. Looks like a flag pole topper to me, and was painted lead at one point, this sucker was a deep whisper of a signal at an easy 13-14 inches! The oil lamp is my first one in great condition thats not falling apart, It even still opens with the hinge intact. Found yet another pocket watch case. Pocket watches and parts seem to call me in for some reason. I find more than I ever see posted here, and everyone I talk to hasn't found as many in their entire career as I have found in the past few years. Just weird. I also found a few cool bridal rosettes. There also appears to be a Broken plate from the butt of a gun stock. Thanks for checking it out.
