Hammered flowing well !!!

Today's finds were once again dominated by hammered silver coins ( not complaining ). Two Edward I pennies 1279 - 1307. One London mint, the other Canterbury, both common mints, but alway's nice to find. The other broken penny, as yet no id, but later than Edward I. Things going well at the moment. Robert.

We focus on Celtic/Roman Sites, but if we knew how to find a Medieval Fair Site, for example we would be on it. We have hit moated Manor Houses, or nearby with little success. Although we are researching an area just outside of a Scheduled 12th C-16th C Moated Site which may or may not produce, we will see....

So, my question to you, is what is the process you go through to find a field with lots of hammered?

The process was simple Cru. It can be summed up well with this old Yorkshire saying " hear all, say nowt".
