One of the last days detecting for the winter season on a farm close by. Nice spring weather, sunny, not too warm and good company made it a perfect day.
Second signal today was a ca. 13th C. hammered penny, too bad to ID but still made my day. It was the kiss of death for me as the finds dried up like the soil on the field.
Buttons
Pottery 16th and 19th C.
Lead
Coins and bits
Shell applique, roman fibula bow, roman hairpin. The hairpin has a square top with remains of a silver capping and was a beautiful piece before destroyed by the plough.
