Here I go again. My 2 yr old son clicked on post and it posted incomplete.

I was saying that to get old halves on a roll they all have to be the same size.

Why we have never found a Capped Bust in a roll with Kenns and Benns.

I found the following about the diameters:

Kenns 31 millimeters
Benns 30 millimeters
Walkers 30.6 millimeters
Barbers 30.6 millimeters
Seated Liberty 30 millimeters
Capped Bust 32 to 33 millimeters
Draped Bust 32.5 millimeters
Flowing Hair 32.5 millimeters

So by judging my the sizes I think It won't be possible to get any from Capped Bust and Below.

Thanks for reading

I'm glad to here that the experiment was a success. I'll let you know when I pull a solid roll of capped busts. Probably tomorrow. Thanks Mr. Silver

I see a lot of bad grammer here as well. Mostly mine. Sentence fragments and such. I can't help it though. I had a playground accident as a kid and the doctors had to remove a piece of my brain. It was about the size of a grapefruit.

Kinest regards,
Kantuck

It's still "HALF" Dollar even when talking about Half Dollars. But when saying I searched a box of Half's. You can substitute it with the word "HALVES".

I see people murder this all the time on here.

Mojo

Mojo,

You seem to show a sincere desire for proper grammar. I can appreciate that. However, you should know that your use of an apostrophe in the phrase "box of half's" is incorrect, since it is not showing possession of something nor is it a contraction.

example: Mojo's box of halves (correct). There are many Mojo's that live in this town (incorrect).

People tend to improperly use the apostrophe quite a bit it seems.

Just sayin'

Jim

Just Sayin that his title should read "Half Dollar Diameters"

You all are great! Everyone has got their own personality that adds to this forum. It is what makes this place as good as it is.
