Opened my first box today and it had 2 proof enders and the box gave up a nice total of 13 proofs!
1992,1993,1999,2004,2005,2006,2009x2,2010,2011x2,2012x2 all proofs! Must have been a collection of them dumped, no silver in the box but I'm still happy with it. :)

Oh there are proof albums? Neato, ill have to check it out!

I have about 5-6 rolls of proofs laying around that ive found since I started hunting.

I find all of mine rim searching only, they definitely stick out! Thicker, and nice clean rims... Not as cool as finding silver, or a silver proof, but its still a keeper in my book.

ETA: I found a proof today, but someone spraypainted it, so I just chucked it back in the dump bag.

I agree not as good as silver but still pretty cool in my book. :) the day I find a silver proof is the day my life is complete. Lol

I'm still looking for a 90% silver proof... My first teller tray find was a 1968-S half though, in almost pristine condition (my avatar picture).

Thanks!

yeah, I went in at lunch time and they said that the local Hardee's had brought it in with a cash deposit at breakfast time and some one spent it! It looked like it had just been cracked out of the set (minus a small scratch behind Kennedy's head).

It's probably my favorite that I have found!

I definitely reccomend purchasing the dansco albums, they might be costly, but they do protect your coins from the elements and I think they also shield them from tarnishing(even though the proofs are not silver, discoloration might happen)

They also allow you to view both sides of the coin without removing it, and they look nice on a bookshelf. That's the book I use for mine, including the big dump of proofs I got from my first bag.

I've found over 800 clad proofs since I started 5 years ago. I kept almost all them unless they were in very bad shape. I've also found 1964-70, 76s silver, and 15 of 21 kind after 1992 modern silver proofs. I filled my Dansco with all coins from CRH.

Interesting. the Dansco Album looks identical to some old albums I got recently, but they're called Coinmaster by Harco. The albums I have appear to be quite old, and I was concerned about putting coins in them. i wonder if Dansco bought out Harco

Edit: Ahh, nevermind, I did a bit of research and found this: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/general-discussion/144985-does-pvc-really-damage-coins.html
