Had my mind all made up.

You should buy the Impact. Now please realize, I've never used one.:laughing7:

Yes please go ahead and buy one! Then tell me about how well the Impact works thinking of buying one myself to go alone with my new AT-Max, like you said alone comes this pesky equinox. LOL

Sighs....too many machines, too little time, too much land to dig on! Oh me!

This is my plan, I'm selling my AT Pro, giving my Makro Racer 2 to my Sister and buying the Makro Kruzer. The Equinox is not even a blip on my radar anymore.

I like the way you fellas think. I got my eye on a used one on a used one on eBay. If that doesn't work out for me I think I will order one.

I’ve got an Impact Pro package. Really like it. Only drawback for me is the weight. At 60, I’m beginning to realize I like the lighter machines. The upside is the Impact is well balanced so weight is not too bad of an issue. Would like to try the Makro Kruzer but will have to sell my Impact package to afford the Kruzer

So your saying you may want to sell the impact?

Buy both! Everyone on this site knows that detectors pay for themselves within a week or two... right?

Tell my wife that.

It takes me a month to "pay" for a machine these days. I'm getting old too and the machines are getting more expensive.

Well I couldn't take it any longer. My fisher cz-6 wont ground balance this morning. So I pulled the trigger on the Nokta. I needed a good excuse and got it.

It's a great machine and easy to learn. I started out using Di3 mode then went to DI4 and am now working on VLX2. after that i will probably work on mastering Di99. Pinpointing is very accurate but the depth meter is off. That said, i can tell how deep the target is by the sound.

I'm buying the Multi Kruzer. What the Makro's and Nokta's can do in iron is amazing. Have a feeling that Makro has had this in the works for awhile. How it does in saltwater will make or break this machine. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I haven't seen much on the kruzer. But hear good things of pretty much all nokta and makro products. I pretty much only hunt colonial sites. I may hit the beach once or twice a year to break up the winter blues. But I will keep my CZ-6 for the beach. Soon as I send it off and get it fixed.

There are a lot of videos with the Multi Kruzer. For what you hunt the Impact should be wonderful. I've never had a Makro/Nokta detector. I'm really looking forward to the M Kruzer.

Mainer, you really don't need an excuse to buy another machine. "Bored" or "adventure" is good enough for most of us.

Tell that to my wife. I keep my detectors in the basement and she asked me how many i have. I told her that she doesn't want to hear the answer.

Impact should be here tomorrow. A day ahead of schedule. Hopefully get out with it tomorrow afternoon or the next day for sure. Just like a kid at Christmas.

Got the impact today. I got to say the build quality on these things are awesome. Everything is so streamline. Took it out and played with it for half an hour. Lot to learn and get use to. But it's a hot machine. Hopefully get out with it for a while tomorrow.
