Had a wonderful hunt! GOLD & SLQ

Went out and took advantage of some record high temps and had a super neat hunt. This particular spot I have been to quite a bit in the past has a huge tot lot that is usually cleaner than my dogs food dish. Not this time. I decided to hit the tot lot before getting my base layers and chest waders on for the water. Not many targets...a few pulltabs, zincolns, two dimes and this beautiful 18k wedding band!! Totally made the whole trip right there. Thinking the day couldn't possibly get any better, I gridded out the main swim area and found maybe 40 cents in clad and decided to hit an older portion of the water that is not frequented much (due to the rocky, hard ground) that seems to always have some wheats. After a couple wheats I got the 92-94 and got pretty excited....out she came! Only my second SLQ ever! So happy! Take care everyone and happy hunting!
