After doing a little research on construction projects around the area, I came across this sidewalk replacement project located in the heart of the downtown business district. They are replacing sidewalks on both sides of Main Street for 6 blocks. :)
Got permission from the City Engineer and the construction people to detect. ;D and after about 2 hours of searching a detecting buddy of mine showed up too. Between the two of us, we got 5 Seated Liberty dimes, 1 shield nickel, 3 V nickels, a two cent piece, and 3 Indian head cents. All but one of the coins were found in the area in front of the 1882 Bank building. It was the only section where they didn't put about 6" of sand down. The coin pics are only the ones that I found.

A Two Cent piece is a rare find.
Wtg on getting permission to hunt that site. That's a beautifully preserved old bank building.
Excellent job on the Seated Liberty silver,V Nickels and IH.Being able to share those finds as you dug them must of been fun to. HH!
