This would have to be the smallest Gun powder flask that I have found. It`s plain with no markings, but it is complete. My search area is 1850s - 1870s,.
Looks similar to a Robbins and Lawrence Co.of Windsor, Vt. flask. Pistol size.(I think they made pepper box pistols as well as other arms before the civil war and in 1856 were doing a thriving business..)
VERY nice! That one's a really good candidate for a restoration. With the length and diameter of the measuring tube we might be able to get an idea of what caliber gun it was made for as well.
