Found this thin little point yesterday evening and thought it was a guilford straight base. After cleaning it up, I noticed the base just doesn't look right for a guilford. You will see. Any clue of its type? Is it a guilford that was flaked by colorful knapper? I needs help!!

I posted some pics in slightly different lighting in hopes of having all of its detail visible in a pic. Thanks for viewing

Morrow mountain and Baddin have totally different cross sections and flaking patterns. Mabey I just didn't see his point very well...I didn't see a ridge on it or a round base.

My first thought was it looks kinda like this...I think it's a morrow mtn. Round base...

I certainly do appreciate what you have done for me. However, I have to disagree with your call. I have quite a few morrow mt points of every variant. This one doesn't have the slight "V" shape at it's base. Thank you, sincerely, for your time and post. Also, the morrow my. I your pic is nice. Thank you for sharing it.

Hey, at least I learned something. Thanks for the info gator, I usually don't know what I'm talking about anyways...hahaha

This was what I meant, never thought about the flaking on them...
