GTI 1500

If it's as good as my 2500, you'll be happy with it. I have found quite a few silver rings but no gold. Finall figured out by scanning my wedding band that it falls exactly on the notch above nickle. Gonna have to make myself dig a lot of pulltabs.

It`s a great machine. learn the imaging well. You have to have the coil dead center on the target to get the best accuracy with sizing. Good luck....I have found thousands of coins with mine. Of course it was designed with coin and jewelery hunting in mind.

You will love it. One hint would be to turn the sensitivity down to 5.5 or 6 and if that works ok for you then start raising it. I get lots of false beeps if I go above 6 and still get some even at that. Other than that you will love the image sizing. It will keep you from digging aluminum cans that hit like quarters and bottle caps too.

Have fun and good luck!

hi, i bought one some months ago and floundered my way through by reading the handbook and watching the dvd..i got a few relics and had a lot of radiating false signals but slowly i am getting a lot better and finding some good stuff././mainly through joining this site and talking to some of the experts ..john and dennis..cheers :hello2:

Dennis here, or Sandman. The sensitivity is the thing that you must keep under control and not use to much or the coil over loads. A lot depends on the hunt area as some can take more sens. than others. Mostly just below preset and you will still have enough depth and pinpointing and imaging will be more accurate.

it's just one step below the gti2500 and that machine works great.......
just use factory settings to start with you will get the hang of the 1500
as you go along be patient :read2: give it a chance and remember what it is telling you
