Ground Finds

Just dropped by to say MUCH appreciated for this ongoing thread by you guys (Sag, Dumpdigger, etc).
I will post some of my hi-lite finds from this year so far.

I only wishes this thread is easier to find (LOL) liked as a sub-forum under CRH. Can we petition the Moderators?
 

Found two quarters in the pop machines and one cent on the floor. YTD 23.92
 

Ok I'm new to the site. So far this year I found a iPhone that had a cracked screen I sold for $40. I took my friend to best buy he went in I set in the car. I looked at the front doors to see if he was coming out I seen a piece of paper blowing in the wind. I got out to get it and it was a five dollar bill. I had to think god that day because I was broke and needed gas. I have been out of work since dec. 18 still can't find a job. Ytd $45.00
 

Found three quarters today in the rec area of the camp. YTD 24.67
 

Found two quarters today, YTD 25.17
 

Found two more quarters, a nickel and a couple cents. YTD 25.74
 

Ok last night I found a dime and a penny. When I was getting food for dinner at lowes food. So now my ytd is $45.11. But I also got bad news this week. If I don't come up with my child support I will go to jail. Which I'm trying hard to find a job. Things have been really hard this year. I'm praying everything works out. I'm tired of all the stress I have been through the last 2 years. It's just hard when you don't know if the place you are sleeping tonight will be there tomorrow. I was lucky to get some money helping a friend Friday morning. That really helped with food. But I'm still holding my head up high and wearing a smile. That's all I can do. I know god will answer my prayers on his time.

Yesterday I found four quarters and two dimes. YTD 26.96
 

Ray good luck buddy. I was homeless at 16 years old. I lived in my truck in the mountains. I made $25.00 a week to clean up at an auto repair shop. I fished and hunted to eat. I did my school work with a kerosene lantern with my. Windows open in my Chevy Blazer. The money mostly paid for gas. I would get to school early to take a shower and sometimes do laundry. Eventually the janitor gave me a key because I would help him clean up. I would eat from the dumpster. I graduated at 17, with honors, 4 days later I was gone to US Army basic training and I never looked back. When your going through hell my friend, you got to keep going!! Thanks togreenfeet. God is watching out for me. I'm seeing doors start to open for me. God put good friends in my life. My friend helped me find work to make some money. That way I can pay the court (child support) and keep me out of jail for now. I pray all the time I find a job soon.
