Greetings From Edmonton

Good morning to all, I am the man they call Lorcroft. I came across this site via a Google search a while back and decided to sign up today. Below you can find more than enough information about myself. First, I'll tell you what brings me to the site.
I may or may not have a very large obsession with finding the Treasure of Lima. I have saved every penny I have earned in the past ten years so I could one day finance an expedition to Cocos Island. Out of those ten years, I have spent the better part of them reading anything I could get my hands on that may have had the briefest mention of the treasure.
Yes, there is an obsession. I've accepted it.
But in the meantime, I am a soon-to-be published author from Edmonton Alberta Canada. Before writing, I used to work in construction and now I have moved on to bigger and better things.
Now that I have rambled on for three paragraphs, I think it is best for this to end here.
I will likely be sticking around this forum for some time, so, I guess we'll be seeing each other around.

Thanks Mamabear, I have written a thriller novel under the working title of 'Riley'. My agent is shopping it around to publishers as we speak. No deal yet, but he says it should happen any day now.

Voodoo, thanks for the kind words. I'll see what I can do about the signed book. But it likely won't be published until late 2014 or early 2015. But If there is enough interest I might give away 2 or 3 signed copies.
