Hi All

Even though I've been around for quite some time , I am nonetheless a newbie at this
M D'ing stuff. But I've been looking around here , and reading these pages , and have learned
a lot , thanks to you all .

So , recently I dusted off an older Bounty Hunter that someone gave me a few years ago ,
and went to Cocoa Beach a couple times, just to get the feel . . . I think I could like it.

Sometime in the future , I'd like to get a good water unit , and do that too.

Meanwhile, some of the posts here have inspired me to cobble together my own version
of a sturdy sand / water scoop. If I can figure out how to post the pictures here , I will , and ask
for a critique . . . happy hunting , hope to talk again soon .

Mmmm...getting bit by the detector bug....

first is the curosity...than the brainstorming...then the abandoning of all good reasoning and going detecting every chance you get.

Welcome,
Al
