Hi everyone,
I am Tony Cobra from.the Philippines.
This is my first to be involved in this kind of endeavor, with my son.
Since time immemorial, it has been the talk of the town that the land inherited by my son from his adopted mother is said to have gold bars burried by the Japanese Officer and his two men and a Filipino (who happens to be the original owner of the land - the father of my son's adopted mother) before they surrendered to the American Forces.
Long time after the war was over, groups of Japanese people came one after another offering huge sum of money to buy the land. The adopted mother of my son knowing what is underground turned down the offer.
Before she died, she summomed my son and told him that it is time to.dig the treasure that was burried by the Japanese and her father. However, financial constraints prevented my son to dig the said treasure.
Long after that, my son was surprised having received a summon from the front office of the hotel he was working for. It was a group of Japanese people who summoned him asking if my son could have time for a meeting.
At the first meeting, he was offered a huge sum of money in exchange for his inherited land, of which my son refused. On the second round of talks, he was offered partnership of a development of his land to become world class beach resort. This time my son asked the Japanese to give him time to think about the offer. After sometime, he was summomed again and this time, a development plan was shown to him and explain to him that the development was just a front to conceal the real reason for digging. That in reality, they are going to dig something, of which my son will have his 10% share of what's gonna be recovered. My son asked them what's gonna be recovered and the answer was -gold. My son remembered his adopted mother's words before she died. Then my son asked them how would he know how much would his ten percent be? And the Japanese answered and said " you'll have ten percent of one ton" and the ultimate offer was, that my son will be given the exact amount in cash equivalent to ten percent of one ton of gold, EVEN BEFORE THE DIGGING STARTS. My son, calculating the offer that's not fair, asked them again to give him time to think. End of negotiation.
Many thanks.
