Great looking tooth.

What I find kind of interesting is the one side showing the wear as the hole is not round.

The other side not so, though it has a tapered shoulder from a centre drill.

Would it be considered rare
Yes it would definitely be considered rare. There are quite a few examples of these, and some have been faked, but the genuine article is indeed rare overall.

Also, when we say great white, this is different from the modern great white. This is a prehistoric great white that is millions of years old that evolved in the period, in which the modern great white transitioned from megalodon, hastalis (prehistoric mako), etc.

Yes, if you found that yourself, in a spot where such an artifact could be found in situ, then it would certainly seem to be authentic.

Clams do drill holes in some teeth. That hole was not drilled by a clam. Logic says you’re looking in a spot at least as prone to Native American artifacts as fossils.
