I really "stuck my neck out" and bought a pretty big lot of silver quarters of Craigslist today. Spent $1800. Plan to sell to Provident tomorrow $2287.34 as of 11:48pm 11/6/12. I'm pretty happy about either a $450 profit (after shipping + insurance) or taking 15.55 oz of silver quarters as profit. Thanks for allowing me to share. This is the largest purchase I've made to date. - Jonathan

FREAKING AWESOME!!!

"Wining"!

That's quite the savoy move!

Depending on your finantial situation my personal preferance is to add to the stack as I believe the price of everything from this day forward will go up.

Nice flip dude, if only people were that dumb around here...

Based on spot prices the last two days, I am happy I bought today. I don't need the $450 bucks that bad, but I also was going to send in $550 in 40%'s and get another $1000 profit from CRH. That would enable me to have a $2000 bank roll to find (and buy deals like this) more. But with the election, tomorrow should be an interesting day for the markets...

Silver already moved up today... but yes, this should be very interesting.

$4.42 a piece?! What a steal!
I thought my buy was good at $5.25 each.
Nice job!

I haven't sold one piece of silver yet, nor will I especially with.. well can't talk politics here so if you want my reason pm me :)

smart, very impressive way of making a profit.

Well done.

All the Craigslist posts that I see are asking way too much.

Offer less. It works.

I happened to be "high bidder." And that was only after some one else he showed them to low balled him in person. I figured I wouldn't do it for less than $400 profit. Third time I've gotten lucky with these deals since Aug.

Update: I sold all the quarters. Taking the $450 profit. Selling my 120 40%'s for $550 too. Now I got a second $1k for the bank roll! - Jonathan

1. President BUSH appointed Bernanke to the FED.

2. The President has NO control of the FED except for appointments. The fed is an entity separate from the rest of the federal government.

3. The president creates a budget and can guide policy. The legislative branch approves these budgets and creates the laws. Who is more responsible?

Sorry, but 11/6/12 will not have a significance with this. It's a process that's been building for a while, and a lot of it is beyond the control of one President.

This is NOT a political bent. Those are facts. There's a lot of misinformation and paranoia out there.

I dont think he was talking about something the fed was doing, but rather the fact that government spending will continue to increase.

And consumer confidence will make the stock market drop while increasing the price of precious metals. I am thinking $50 oz is not unlikely before the end of the year.

I dont think he was talking about something the fed was doing, but rather the fact that government spending will continue to increase.

And despite logic, people assume that any other person would NOT spend more money? Or that there was actually enough to cut to make up for the deficit? Or reducing govt spending in a poor economy might have similarly bad effects?

Sigh, a lot of doom and gloom and finger pointing.

That is one sweet deal.. I better keep my eyes on Craigslist more often.. Lol...
