Of all my years of detecting 25++ I've never seen a Seated coin come from the ground looking anything like that one.??? Having found several Seated coins along with a few Bust & Spanish silver coins, mine all have scratching along with at least some discoloration or tarnashing. GREAT FIND!!!

Great coin!! Congrats.

So do you say a couple posts ago that you found a seated half in the same hole or did I misunderstand? If so, please share a decent photo, sounds cool!

Smiles!

Super sweet find!!!

my 2005 redbook ---1858 Philadelphia (plain back --no O or S mint mark) listed it as if it graded at EF40 at $60 and at AU 50 at $150---sadly its "great shape" makes a dealer think "cleaned" coin thus "dropping its value somewhat esp. if you say it was "dug"--so $60 is about the dealer price---sweet find I'd love to get one in my scoop----Ivan

Congrats!

I am still looking for my first seated coin. I have found all other types, walking, standing, running (ok I made that one up), but still waiting for the seated.
