Spent a couple of hours detecting an old plantation house today. Found a gold plated dandy button - late 18th century, 1863 Knickerbocker currency token, an 1870 2 cent piece and a 1924 wheatie. A few modern coins and lots of misc metal "stuff". thanks to all on treasurenet that helped me ID the button and the Knickerbocker currency. Way cool.

Pics to follow shortly. Need to finish cleaning up the copper before I can get decent pics. A pic of the button is posted to an earlier thread where I was seeking assistance with ID.
