1904-O half
1942 quarter
small crotal bell
broken trap tag (2nd from site)
Lead sprue
unknown brass thing
Dental was fine, it was just a cleaning.
So anyway, weather was a brisk 42 but no wind, so i decided to hit the historical society place again. Took both coils for the field and around the buildings. Found the brass thing first, then the bell, near each other but in 2 different grids.
Started a broad back-and-forth along the far edge of the field when I got a strong 95 on the Pro. 95 in this field has been aluminum cans mostly, so you can imagine my excitement when I flipped that hefty silver out of the hole...and a New Orleans mint to boot. Worked my way up the field towards the front of the property, finding only the two pieces of the trap tag. Switched coils for the front yard of the house, where I got the 1942 quarter and lead sprue. Called it a day after 4 hours.
