Great day (for me) and some firsts...

Yesterday I was hunting in my own front yard and struck up a conversation with a woman walking her dogs. Turns out she's lived down the street for 12 years and said I could hunt in her yard, so went this afternoon. Found my first Buffalo nickel and first Barber anything - a 1903 O dime. Found some costume jewelry and other stuff, and they said I could come back, seems like there should be lots there! thanks for looking and HH!

I am loving your avatar disguises! The chocolate egg is an old Monet (fake) clip-on earring, but yummy anyway

Pretty exciting when you see the back of the dime that looks different than a rosie isn't it (I always happen to see the back first for some reason)? My first barber was a 1903 too. Congrats.

Congratulations those are some great finds. I just recently found my first Barber dime. Sure made me smile . I don't have the buffalo yet can't wait to get one of those.
