Nice finds! keep up the good digging!

Hello detecta,

I can't read the embossing on that dairy bottle. I'd think it more likely a sour cream, or small cottage cheese; yogurt, even. Extra points for those.

Spots like that have some interesting finds. The old milk bottle looks great.HH.

Thank you all, I will be going back soon and will post pictures of anything cool I find! The bottle I found says bottle property of dairy container corporation 3 cent deposit Detroit Michigan on front. On the back it says 3 cent deposit never sold must be returned after using contents. On bottom 3 cents duraglas. I now have 3 different styles, 2 I found, 1 I bought at a garage sale for 25 cents! HH to all!

Okay I have found some things from my relatives from around the 1900s. Hopefully you or I could find some things from your family!

Nice going on the bottle and the tag, marbles are always a cool find.

Hey dig kzoo... my son dug this up the other day near Port Huron, MI. Thought you might like to see it... do you have any info on potential age or anything else that may be of interest to us on this? Internet searches on Gabel-Risdon items like this are not turning up much.

Thanks

Nice finds with the glass and licence plates! Old dumps are the best! All dumps are great in my opinion, even the new ones, albeit a bit smellier than the old ones :laughing7:
I found a 1964 NY World's Fair licence plate the other day at a dump, it was beat up and rusty but still was able to sell for $11 at auction.
There is always someone out there who wants old licence plates. Old bottles can command quite the price too
