Went on a hunt with the_mad_cladder today. We only found one permission which was an old house with about a 1/4 acre yard. Found my 2nd Silver half dollar, a silver rosie and my first liberty nickel which i found 2 but they are toasted. The nickels are at the bottom of the picture and you can't really tell what they are but i'll take them:) Also found an antique FS padlock and 2 old Mill store tokens and a bunch of wheaties 20180317_173600.jpg20180317_173614.jpg20180317_173622.jpg20180318_003813.jpg. Probably one of my best days and definitely my best for just one little yard.20180318_180249.jpg20180318_180315.jpg Tokens cleaned up real nice.

Congrats on that beauty of a Walker! It's those little, postage stamp sized lots that produce great stuff, that's where I have the best luck. Ddf

Congrats on the great finds- love the Walker!

Congratualtions on the large silver! :occasion14:

Awesome hunt congratulations :occasion14:

Great things come in small packages! Excellent haul of cool old coins, tokens, and a sweet old brass padlock. Very nice day plundering that tiny lawn. I know I could improve my old coin totals doing private homes and sidewalk strips but, I have had a few unfortunate run ins with "ignorant" townsfolk which messes with my therapy. Those little tight areas turn into coin purses for many fine treasures for sure. :headbang:

The Avalon Mill Store tokens are so awesome....
I got off on a tangent researching ghost towns in Florida, then I got roped in to other states....Once I saw your token, it jogged my memory, here, check this out...

Thanks for sharing that. I believe the house we were at was an old Avalon house. They moved all the houses to the next town when they had the fire. All the houses are marked around 1904. A lot of history around there.

Wow dude, that's a heck of a hunt! I am sooo jelly of that Walker. hehehe

I found a war nickel today. That's almost as good as a Walker. :laughing7:

When you got the Walker signal did you think it was something good or just a piece of can slaw?

Actually i thought it was a quarter that was near the surface. It was ringing up 96. I knew it was something good, it sounded too good not to be.
