Took one a brand new one and gave it to her mom this am so when she gets her cast shes ready .... plus the stuffed puppy I gave her this mornin it got a splint to!

Gosh, I know how you feel. Our little grandson just had his cast removed from his broken arm. Give her 3-4 days she'll be doing just fine. I think it hurts us more then it does them.

I think your right on that ! We worry so much about them. I called and her mom said she slept good through the night!

May God bless her. Broken bones are rough for a while. I had a bad break in my right arm when I was a kid and spent the whole summer not being able to swim or take a real shower. Tell her to hang in there and lots of people are praying for her.

The only reason she'll be able to do the things that get you wet they are making water cast now those were not thought of when I was a kid. And she is doin fine she was tryin to play badmittin with her papa last night! I am jujs still praying for the healing to be right she is bouncing around all over LOL! You can only tell shes hurt by looking at her arm no pain meds at all yesterday but, mom was going to give her one at bedtime anywway last night so she can sleep welll in case she bumps it wrong during the night! Thank yo for the continuneing prayers!

PS: I know about broken bones, broke my left wrist when I was 10, swinging on the clothesline pole, after my Daddy told me NOT to!!! I was such the rebel child...lol!

And my oldest boy in Kindergarten, was pushed off the monkey bars at school and his left elbow was broken in 3 places. Surgery that night. He loved being there in the room, they had Nickolodean on the TV!!! He's healed pretty well, but he can twist his arm that to me is NOT normal! ewww! He's 14 now!

She broke 2 bones and she was standing on the bar around the pool so she could jump in, after all she knows the RULE - NO standing on the ladder to jump in! Nobody said anything about the pool rail and mom was in the house grabbing the towels. Soooooo !
I was watching her from a little ways away this am at church she had the good arm going like crazy explaing to someone about her arm how it happened it was soooo animated and so cute!

your daughter was going to ask for it.... thank goodness... its so hot and to have a cast
that couldnt get wet... when you have a pool... would be terrible for a small child!

Hey MG, we can't be there to do it, so take that magic marker and write our names on the cast. "Don Roberto, Vaquero y Buscadero de Oklahoma, (El Guapo), y Dona Maria, La Guapa de Torreon, Coahuilla, Mexico." That should pretty much cover it. Just kidding. Put a 'Z' on there for us. I like that picture where she's sitting in the pool. That's pretty much 'summer back home' to me, and if it wasn't so cold up here, I might have the same set up out here in the parking lot.
