Grand Master Hunter CX3

I've been offered a CX3 , 4 coils ,rechargable battery , head phones , arm support , and carry bag .
Everything looks as new . I know nothing about this machine ; quality , capability , ect . My only experience is with a BH Landstar .
Any comments on this machine would be appreciated . The asking price is $300 .

If it works...take it! Sounds like a great deal. The Master Hunter cxIII is a nice machine.....perhaps a little on the heavy side, but it has Garretts "POWER MASTER" circuitry giving it 20% greater depth then other models. It also has a nice true all metal mode which has decent depth. The extra coils are icing on the cake.

Thanks for the reply . Are there markings or serial numbers for models with "Power Master" circuitry or are they in all of the CX3's ?
I'm cautious on this because my wife would rather see this money spent on kitchen and bathroom renovations . If there is no improvement over the BH Landstar I will probably be in deep doodoo on the home front .

Face it, you will be in deep dodo no matter what you do. The Garrett has the Bounty Hunter beat in all but weight. IT is a good detector and the only way to climb out of the dodo is to give her a ring you "found."

That would never happen here as I love the lady . Just don't wish to spend my few spare dollars on a
bad investment .
