Snuck in 2 more short hunts with the ACE250. Best find was a mid tone bouncy signal.


Cleaned up really well.



I believe this is a membership pin for the Grand Army of the Republic. Union Soldier fraternity/club.

Here is the handful.



Then this morning my town’s historical society 1830’s working farm preservation ask me to detect the old carriage path further down the property. A couple buggy brakes made sense in the old road bed. Here’s the handful.



Also the nicest wheat penny (found in a Coinstar in VA) I’ve ever found.




(Maybe I’m just so used to dug wheats...)

Any particular reason you were swinging the Ace instead of the Nox?

My stock coil started going bad again. Lost all VDI’s above 15. Like swinging over a Barber Dime at 2” and getting a faint 12 signal, beer can good to about 6” at a 15 signal. My small coil works perfectly, but Minelab wanted both the head unit and the coil sent back, been a little over a week. But, fun to swing the Ace 250 again. She gives no doubt signals on good targets, just not that much info on the iffy stuff and sucks around EMI.
