Got the smoker going today

Grocer has Hormel (1.5 lbs) marinaded pork tenderloins for $8.99 each and Buy one get one free.
This one is mesquite marinade and was slow smoked over a real wood fire. The closest I’ll get to treasure today. $3/LB, not too bad for Bide-n-flation.

It’s accompaniment is a hobo (foil) packet of cabbage and onion wedges, carrots and garlic with olive oil and sea salt. Should be a nice supper, and nearly vegan, except for 24 ounces of primo pork!
Sorry, I’m not anti “food choice” I just don’t relate to it. Enjoying a meal without meat is akin to enjoying sex, without the “happy ending”. Sure you can, but why would you?…
