Met up with my buddy Tony today and drove out to a farm that he had permission to detect on. I drew first blood with a 1867 half toasted Indian. Next thing I see is him waving at me and yelling "I've got cut piece of Spanish silver" Damn! Yep, It was, and a thick one too! I'm guessing maybe part of an 8 reale? One side you can clearly see Caro, And the other side you can see 66. The edge of it has a braid design on it. By the way, He is a newby at detecting. This is probably his 5th hunt, And he is swinging a Eurotek pro with an 8in. coil. I swear, you couldn't slap the grin off his face! Sorry the pics suck, couldn't get my camera to zoom in. Anyways, I ended up with a bunch of relics,(mostly colonial) and 3 coins. 1867 indian, 1919 and 1944 wheat. Oh yeah, I dug the smallest thimble I've ever found! 1-16-16 003.JPG1-16-16 004.JPG1-16-16 015.JPG1-16-16 016.JPG1-16-16 017.JPG1-16-16 020.JPG1-16-16 018.JPG1-16-16 021.JPG1-16-16 007.JPG1-16-16 005.JPG1-16-16 006.JPG
