I've been spending the last week in the surf and this is the best of what I've found.

Ladies Elgin dress watch features a Mother-of-pearl dial accented with 108 gleaming Austrian crystals. I almost pooped my pants when it came up in the scoop. I was scared to look at it to see what it was. When I could read the manufacturer Elgin I knew it was not anything special, but still a nice find, retails at Sears for $70 but it looks nice so it went to the wife.

Also found two gold rings. I was excited at the first one, but the stone was missing out of the center. Marked 10KP has white colored hearts on either side of the setting with chip size stone in the center of the heart.

Found the other ring today, it has a stone in the center maybe aquamarine but it's not marked and the gold is thin.

Hey, gold is gold and adds up. Nice finds.

thats a pretty watch, most of them I find its hard to tell they are even watches and they are toast.

I'll bet your wife is happy with that
watch Joe. It looks real nice and would
surely get your attention in the scoop. :laughing7:
Congrats on some sweet finds.
Gold Nuggets :hello:

I'll bet it cleaned up well and looks nice on your wife! :headbang:

Thanks guys, believe it or not I did not even have to clean the watch. I don't think it was in the water more then 2 days when I picked it up Tuesday after labor day weekend.

I was kind of bummed when I saw the stone missing out of the first gold ring I got, but at least it's gold even if it's only 10KP.

The other ring has a stone but it's got some sand and wear crud under the stone, so I need to clean that up. The band is not marked and it's paper thin too, but heck I suppose it still beats the heck out of rusty bottle caps any day of the week. :laughing7:

Yesterday was almost a bust with only $3.46 in clad to show for it, but I pulled out of pair of Oakley Spike sun glasses in pretty darn good condition that retail for $215 that saved the day. I guess that is my most valuable find to date.
