Garrett- Master Hunter CX,Infinium, 1350, 2500, ACE 150-water converted 250, GTA 500,1500 Scorpion, AT Pro
Cold, windy with a wind chill of -26, and I didn't even get a penny after about an hours hunt. Then about 15 sledders showed up, so I left. Being somewhat discouraged, I went home, grabbed my camera, my mono camera stand and a bag of sunflower seeds. In a favorite spot in the river valley, I set my AT Pro in the trees and stood by with my camera, waiting, waiting, waiting :icon_scratch: and I was not disappointed :sign13:

cool pics...i hope ya didn't get any bird poo on the AT :laughing7:

Wouldn't matter anyway...I would have just washed it off, because it's water proof.

John, that's a Beautiful way to start the New Year off! Thanks for sharing that with us.

Happy Hunting this year.

Keppy, I catch your drift. It seems impossible that some are offended by the national treasure, heritage, privilege and freedom that millions and millions of good citizens have to enjoy hunting wild game and to go fishing the waters both in Canada and the US. It is envied by many the world over. At the end of the day, me and my fellow sportsman exhibit a sincere reverence for life, perhaps greater than most, and we are very concerned about the health and conservation of our natural resources. Nobody shoots chickadees. With guns.

Let me try again. John, cool pics, I love chickadees! If you stand still enough, they tend to land on you which is just neat.

Happy New Year to all!

John those are nice photo's of the tiny birds. I buy the large jars of peanut butter and place some on the bird feeders and tree bark.

On another note, I found this photo that all married men will understand.
I wonder what the male sparrow is saying.... :laughing7:

gleaner 1........... If you hunt i don't care i have freinds that hunt ...... That's what they like to do i have family members that hunt ........... I was just saying that now i hunt with a camera............ Why ????? are you so touchy.......... There was no harm ment I really could care less about what sport ones have....... so i deleted my post.......... For it was taken the wrong way....

Keppy, I had the feeling you thought I was a viscous chickadee murderer or something, that's all. But that was foolish of me. I took it the wrong way, I guess it happens once in a while. I respect you as a seasoned member and a gentleman and rest assured that I have no hard feelings. I hope this is mutual. I just gotta chill out a bit, maybe do some detecting after work. Keppy, best regards to you always.
