Got Permission To Hunt A New Site And Play With SE

got permission to hunt a new spot today by walking up and asking a work crew,

they told me the neighbor next door said her uncle had lived on it in 20s

The place was a single story old shack and I did find what was left of it

they are making 10 foot wide trails through out the a 4-5 acre piece

anyway here is some my first SE finds, I did find some trash

only coin I got so far was a 1963 memorial that was in path of clothes line which is 150 feet roughly from end of house
it was about 10 inches down

clothes line has a coupling on it at bottom but I could not unscrew it by myself

so next visit I will use a pipe wrench and equalizer to look inside it

SE is definitely different from my old DFX side kick I have had a while
I dug everything to learn tones and VDI numbers on her

Orchid was just blooming and saying hello

went back today before I fried my brain doing my taxes

I spent an few hours there and got 4 more early 60 memorials, a old jingle bell and a brass knob of something.

once I find my camera I will post them

I just listen to tones and swung, within an hour was getting decent at tones and knowing what was below me

so maybe I will keep the SE for a few more weeks and see how it goes

I need to get a small coil in there too around house so I am going to have to use my DFX some too

You're gonna like that SE after you become one with it. You know I have a DFX also but I stick with the Minelabs stuff every time. I'm loving the ETrac the most though. Best of luck tryiing it out.....find some good stuff!!!
