Well got my XLT today, I was supposed to get it sooner but the lines at Fedex where to long so I had to wait 5 days longer. Anyway that’s another story. The driver didn’t get here till almost six already getting dark, took it out of the box put it together (had to make sure it worked ok) took it outside push the on pad, screen comes on, goes out no power or something, could not see the startup screen not sure what was going on. First thing I think is change the batteries, after that everything runs ok, I got it for a real good price so I did get a little worried. It looks like it was maybe used once or twice if that, the pads for the elbow thing had not been put on, the straps for the cable where not put on, no scratch’s at all on the bottom of the coil, did not come in original box, but was packed good. Got a Whites carryall bag, bullseye pinpointer and royal GT headphones.

Did a quick scan of my front lawn, got about 8 or 9 more hits then with my fisher 1225x.
Will post more tomorrow, must get some sleep if I can…

You're gonna have a ball tearing up your yard........ Learn to pinpoint and any trash you retrieve, you keep in the trash side of the pouch for later disposal. Try to leave and area where you took out a coin to look just like it was before you were there.

Enjoy,
Sandman

It is a great machine and fun to learn. I use one in No Cal too and I have no complaints. Best of luck to you.

I was supposed to get my XLT later today but UPS sent it to Buffalo New York and I am in Idaho! I found the shipping error when I looked up the tracking # and it showed the package being out for delivery in Buffalo. I hope I end up getting it. I am looking forward to going to a newer detector. My old 6000 Di/Pro Sl is a good machine but it weighs too much. It has taught me a lot about detecting and I've found some really nice stuff and met several great people in the process. :)
