short ride to Woodstock, NY--- home of the flaming Liberals, hot hippie chicks and other assorted wildlife

as I scampered about in the well kept natural floral and fauna (momma with her 2 fawns watching me intently from 25 yards in their curiosity) it soon became apparent that this was a virgin site.

clad hopping every 2 feet, with lotsa pocket spills--- until a sharp 82-83 had me thinkin' another coppah or clad Rosie :tongue3:
at 3 inches the winged wonder-- all shiny as she always is--- but a repeat swing of the hole revealed her sister with the "D".

my 1ST ever pair of Mercs in one hole :occasion18: :icon_biggrin:

covered my gas to get there--- so now I be feelin' pretty :laughing7: so the hunt resumed---

total tally a neat piece of glass, fake junk earring and $4.60 in CRAD, 2 Canada coppahs and enough bottle caps to start a soda business.

barely sniffed the 3 acre site so a return today for :dontknow::dontknow:

Well, nice find, but at first I thought you had found a hippie chick with 42's and was bit let down to see pics of the mercs...
Never considered Woodstock, but with the crowd in 69 being mostly young and quite a few being high, I just have to wonder how many piggy banks got raided to fund the adventure and with the silver that had been put back over the years managed to come out for one final ride and got lost at that amazing event just 4 years after the silver was being removed from general circulation.

nice mercs, should be more old stuff there. congrats on the double silver

this is the village of Woodstock, the festival was in Bethel, Sullivan county. HIPPIE CHICKS will be out in force with a warmer day today---- perky, frisky & tasty (.) (.)--- no need to add salt :dontknow::laughing7:

Love the silver. I would have been happy with a pair of 36's myself !!!

Great play on words! personally, i have never got my hands on a pair of 42s on the same day. I did get my hands on a couple of 40 D's once. That was back in my younger days, and when i brought them home to show my mother, she said i should treat them with respect and not handle them too much. Go figure.
