It's been a while since I was out metal detecting because of work and I was itching to get out to do some detecting. I was on my way to a park I go to and I saw this 1700"s house that was for sale. The owner was sitting out front so I figure I just stop and ask if I can detect the property and he said it was ok. He told me that the property has already been metal detected. But I was able to make some nice finds.

That a cool chauffeurs badge and rosette. Congrats on getting the permission and getting to find these lost treasures. 👍

Way cool!!congrats!

I found out from other members on Tnet that the decorative thingy is a Scottish Thistle buckle. There is always a lot of very knowledgeable people here on Tnet that help me with the ID of my finds.
Tnet members are a wealth of knowledge. What a great ID on your find. - thanks for letting us know.

Congratulations on the great finds. Thanks for sharing.

Nice finds! What kind of detector is that with the sliding handle? I’ve never seen that one but like the design.

Congrats on the great finds - really like the old Chauffeur's Badge !

It's a Deus 2 WS6 master. That day I was using the 13X11" coil. I also have the 9"coil for it. It's completely wireless & weighs about 2 pounds.

The permission is just as nice as your finds...
Congrats!

Thanks, It was my first permission and I was surprised the owner said it was ok for me to detect it. The property is for sale and the house needs a lot of work. The house was built in the 1700's and the owner hopes who ever buys the property doesn't tear the house down.

Congrats!
