I havent been out in forever due to pnemonia and the weather taking a turn towards winter so I decided to get out today before I cant again. First, I hit up the field where I found the Barber half this past summer. Pulled a wheat penny and the old military button (need to figure out what kind). After the field, I decided to go back to the yard where I found all of the Buffalo and V nickels. First target was a heartstopper for a second, 1909 wheatie minus the S. Ended up with three more Indian head pennies, another Buffalo nickel and two old rings. On my way back to my car I decided to hit one last spot in the yard that I havent done yet and got a solid 12-47 on the Etrac. I figured it was a modern quarter because it was right beside a flower garden that was put in recently. Once I flipped the plug, out popped a 1897 Barber quarter. This year gave me my first Barber dime, quarter and half dollar.
