Got my 1st cut Reale

Got out to my honey hole field thay has been producing coppers, half dimes, seated and 3 centers. Got my 1st cut cob/reale. If anyone can id and date it I would appreciate it this is my 1st one. Now on to the capped bust coins,

Hey man awesome find but its not a cob its a piece of an 8 reale. Probably mid to late 1700's! Sweet find!

Sorta what I figured just used the term cob. First time I got a piece of a reale. Got a whole one before looked for the rest of it but it was missing.

Yep, an 1/8 of a 2 reale. I think it is fairly unusual to find a 1/8 cut of any Spanish coin. I have found an 1/8 of an 8 reale which i thought was pretty cool....

Not sure about overall, but specifically for the pistareens, the quarter piece of two reales is 8-10 times more common than the half piece of two reales. I'm assuming the eighths are found even less, only found 1 of those as opposed to 3 half pieces and 12 quarters.
