Hi :hello:

Gave Jacky a much needed flea bath early this morning , then headed south to follow the low tide out at one of my favorite beaches.

Hunted for 3 hrs. in the mud collecting clads, and junk ..then finally recovered a small 10K nugget ring ...followed by a large silver earring 15 minutes later.

Ring was deep...about 10"; earring was also deep..about 10"

Band on ring was broken when recovered :'(

Here's some pics...

As always..thanks for taking a look

Congrats!!! It is so nice of you to share your finds. It is fun to see what there is to find. Looks like you do very well. I hope to do more and more the closer I get to retirement. I only get out on the weekends and to small beachy areas only. My hubby has been going like crazy and finding some cool items. I am looking to get an inexpensive (I always like to get less expensive things in the beginning of a new hobby - not always a good idea -- but anyway) detector, what do you think of or know about Gold Century Underwater Detectors??? Better yet, what brand or even model would you suggest for both salt and fresh. Thanks, Kathy.

thank you for your kind words, Kathy

I'll send you an e-mail ....and

In addition to my PM, , I'm sure the members on this fine forum ( who are much more knowledgeable than am I regarding the various detectors available) would be very gracious in advising you as to what would be a good choice detector for your needs.
