Got EXTREMELY LUCKY... Now it gonna cost$$$$$$$$$

We show up when the last screw is put in place! I built a garage by myself from the block up! The neighbors all watched and friends were busy! TILL BEER TIME CAME!!Lol

Well I'm half way to "beer time". Deck is TORE UP and new pool is in. Rained all day yesterday so no work on rebuilding deck (thank God). But there's still time for ALL MY T-NET FRIENDS TO SHOW UP AND HELP RE-BUILD THIS DECK. I'm still waiting.... hummmm (crickets).:hello:

I CAN'T WIN.... NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!

Got pool filled (16,000 gallons) and the water looking great. Put the last board on deck top going around pool. All I had to do was go around the next day and shim a few up to level and drop in my décor board going around inside of pool along with a fresh coat of stain. Figured I'd vacuum the pool for the first time this year. Grabbed vacuum and walked around deck top and got about 1/2 done. All of a sudden the plastic fitting that holds the vacuum head to the long aluminum pole snapped. The aluminum pole then stabbed the new liner and put a 1/2" circular cut into it. Store was closed and I had no repair kit. Next morning water lose was around 1500 gallons and a dinner plate sized depression was now seen into the sand about 1 1/2" deep. I about had a heart attack on the spot. Got a patch for it and it's holding (for now). But the liner now needs to be replaced AGAIN... and my completed deck tore back up again. And I bought the best of the best liner also. The plastic fitting was just old and "dried" out I guess. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!

When I first read the title, I figured someone got someone pregnant :) This may be a cheaper outcome though

You got me beat on losing heroship points. Thanks I feel better now. Remember,we don,t let them take our man cards for weeping. l.o.l..:laughing7:

Well that's good to hear guy.... because I'd be losing mine. Surprised nobody heard me screaming and yelling from middle TN. I can't ever remember the last time I had such a depressed feeling as this was. 90+ degrees the last days of putting deck back together only to poke a hole in the boat when done... go figure.

Smoked the serpentine belt on one of godzillas vehicles in the yard after getting it running again. A long story, but I did accidentally smuck it a little plowing last winter, maybe as each time I get it running she does not go start it now and then.Another vehicle same story, sat to long, now the fuel pump don,t . I did remind her it was her insistence that persuaded me to part with my tractor project years back just cause it was in the yard.
