Took off today for a permission I got awhile back on an older home site.
Found 4 Wheats right off the rip, and then nothing else.
He said that he didn’t think it had been hunted before. The whole yard was empty. Found the Wheats where the driveway used to be that ran to the back of the yard.
Jumped in the Tahoe and headed in town. Thought about just going home and relaxing, but I saw an old Church that is in a building that has had the window placements changed over time. So in that, it was definitely much older.
After getting permission, I hunted about 3/4 of the yard, and in the middle of the big side yard I got a Sweet 90 signal all the way around on the Deus2,, and out pops an 1899 Silver Barber Dime!!!!! Wasn’t expecting that!! All the other coins from the yard were clad. Must have just been missed. I’ll take it !!!

Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!!!

Found out from a fellow Hunting Buddy that he had hunted this spot last year and found 3 Indians. It was hard for him to believe I got the Barber Dime there. In all fairness, it was a large spot to hunt, and a Dime could’ve been missed pretty easy. There was also a lot of iron in the ground.

Winner winner chicken dinner !! 😁👍🫡
