I had one as a kid , my dad used to take me to Potomac Arms in Alex Va as a small boy . I was fascinated by all the guns ,knives and such. they even had heavy artillery out in the parking lot. on one such trip he bought me a Bayonet just like yours. the thing I remember so well even after 50+ years is the smell , that thing had a pretty bad smell to it.
I often wonder what ever happened to the Bayonet I was so proud to own.
Does yours have a funky musty grease smell to it?
Thanks. I like it due to the fact I had a lot of close relatives in the war. They are all gone now. Only one relative left that was alive back then, my aunt who is 105.
