Got 4 more today......3 more to reach 100 Silver's ....Cold Weather is here
After getting a bunch of Snow Blower's repaired today I could have some time to detect.
I dropped off a snow blower at a costumers house ( which is a 1890 house...He won't me detect it..2nd time asking him.. oh well)
I was going to pick up my son at home to take him to a friends house( the other side of town ) then go dirt fishing but he got picked up already so I decided to change my plans and hit a house that I've hit 2 other times since I have no other places lined up , yet..
I was hunting for about an hour and only had several wheat pennies. While hunting with WaterColor, Kimsdad ,Skinny Puppy TreasureFiend and Twistted yesterday I thought I was having problems with my SE so went to my XLT.
Today I was having problems with the XLT. So I decided to switch my head phones, like Kimsdad told me to do yesterday.
( Stubborn me didn't think it was the headphones)
Guess what it was..
First thing I did was to go back to the hole I was just digging which was a broken up signal.
Swung the coil over the hole and WOW!!!!! THIS loud SIGNAL rang in my head phones.
Dime at 7 1/2 inches
Got down there and out popped a 1929 Merc. Holy $*it I was impressed..
The next hour was coin after coin...All signals were LOUD and CLEAR
Wheats at 4 to7 inches were clear
The 1944 Quarter was 7 1/2 inches deep and it to was loud and clear
The 1918D Merc was the last coin dug and it was a clear sound and was 8-81/2 inches
NO MORE OLD HEAD PHONES .........................
WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING..!!!!!!!!. Now I have to go back to ever spot again next year....NO WAY!!! (Well maybe a few)
3 more Silver Coins to get to 100 for the year......
( NO SNOW )
Almost forgot I got back $ .82 out of the $1.10 I spent on the batteries.
