Despite food poisoning and my better judgement, I got out with my buddy Steve (Triplenipple555) to one of his sites, and one of my own sites. It was totally worth it, and even found one of my best condition large cents to boot. Here’s some of the finds. I’ll add more soon since I’m still off my feet...

Anybody that has info on the “R” is welcome to chime in. It could be from a cartridge pouch but that’s just a guess. Anyway, thanks for looking and good hunting.

Nice neck stock buckle and beautiful LC. I like the attachment hooks on the back of the R, Maybe the R in GR?

Awsome finds....the "R" looks like a Remington Rremington-arms-squarelogo.png

The buckle is incredible but I think the large cent takes the cake. That thing is perfect!!!!

That was my thinking but the letter R looks like 19th century styling. A friend of mine sent me these examples of box plate lettering ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584145406.270085.jpg

It’s a beauty. I’m partial to the buckle tho. I’ve dug hundreds of large cents and never a complete neck stock. It’s been on my bucket list. Looking back on Tnet I came across this old post of mine ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584145537.350137.jpg
