Hi all, Been out the old goldfeilds at kangaroo Flat.Camped out for the week-end and boy did we drink some beer.Using Gpxs,sd P1 units and small coils ,as we know the area we worked only had small gold and specks.Spent a few hours in the creek with old gold pan.Covered quite a bit of area but ran out of week-end. Might be last trip here as the grass and undergrowth will go quickly.Fire season starts in about a week which means no open fires in the state park.Johnny started on the beer early and soon had Roy and myself making pigs of ourselves. 
The pics of us will show just how full we got by 5pm. we found about 3 Oz,s of gold and drank in total 4 slabs of cans [24 cans to a slab] can do this at this spot no open mine holes and is still too cold for snakes.Gee i have a hang over a mile long. :P :P :P

One place used to import Coopers extra stout but they stopped. God I miss that beer its my favorite. Drink a few for me when your not feeling so dried out
