Good day of yard'n
This hunt started by attending my 35th class reunion. I struck up a conversation with a former classmate about hunting his childhood home. An impressive older home, built near the Main Street in 1911, still occupied by his 86 yr. old mother. After calling his mother, he said that she wouldn't mind if I looked around with my detector.
The first signal I dug was the 1898 barber quarter and I knew this was going to be a good spot. I dug numerous clad coins besides the following - 1906 1/2 dollar, 1919 quarter, 1852 large cent, 1920 mercury dime, 1964 rosie & numerous wheat pennies.
I ususally don't hunt yards, but this one paid off!
