Terry,.....GREAT JOB !! .........I like the "First Year of Issue", nice full date 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar......ONLY 608,000 were minted by the U.S. Mint.....and YOU now own one of the very few surviving coins......keep us posted on any other finds, and along that river!!

Very nice, how deep we're these?

From 2" - 9". The dime was around 7", one Indian was about 2", and the half was about 6" deep. The deepest was the 1942 Wheat at around 9" - go figure!

Thank you Terry! I didn't have any info -- only when I was googling and saw a site that stated that MDing wasn't allowed anywhere in Tibbetts and then another said no where in Westchester County. Obviously, that's not the case, and thank you sooo much for clarifying.

No permits needed I assume (I hope this is the case, as I'm no longer a county resident, lol). I have to take a long trip to FLA this month, but when I get back I will PM you. I'm also interested in clubs in the area. Amazing digs!
