well i went out hunting in the woods today with a friend of mine and i had one great find!!! a gold pocket watch. its small about the size of a half dollar or a little smaller and it has like dimond chips in the back. how you see it is how it came out of the ground. i need some id! inside it says LAMARCHAND A RENNES. theres 2 serial numbers to date it but i dont know were its from . im thinking french? theres a dimond inscribed inside with a s and a g im guessing that stands for solid gold. any one see one of these befor? willy.

Beautiful watch, Congratulations. La marchand a rennes means the merchant has reindeers in french. May be a Christmas present?
Good luck on the id.

watch update

went to a clock shop today the guy couldnt give me much info because the lack of markings but he did say because of the inner works it was between 1870-1890. after that i went to a coin shop to have the gold tested and it came out 18k so my guess would be that those are real diamond chips. heres a marking on the back has anyone seen this? . willy.

I would put new guts in it. Put it on a pimp chain. Get you a big purple fluffy hat, and some loose women. Then you would be my idol. ;D You would be Pimp Daddy Willy

You have a completely valid idea, and should be taken into serious consideration.

This deserves to be on the banner. You just don't see finds like it. Should be worth a pretty penny too. That's a beautiful watch.
