I was trying to edit the post and messed it all up.

My original post was that I see that someone hits the motherload. I am saying I hope it is Parker or the Hoffmans and not Dakota Fred.

The show based on the how they edit it has Dakota Fred rubbing me the wrong way. Fred told the producer that the show makes him look like someone who is only out for himself but he is really a nice guy. My idea of a nice guy would have lent parker the electrical panel. However he did claim it was his "partner" who wanted $10k for the panel (or was it Fred?)

The Hoffmans seem to make all kinds of mistakes and bad decisions, and Parker is impulsive, but he is only 17!

Still I hope it is either of them, but at the same time if it is Fred, well good for him, I wish it where me! Maybe the next time on the river I will hit a pocket for a hundred ounces!

Besides this isn't a documentary there gona change what they need to sell you on watching the show

And the manufactures of the equipment understand the sheer number of chumps who watch the show and made a good decision to advertise there
Now they be backed up again and a punch of y'all will buy that magic dredge they have!

It looked like a 5" dredge. If it was used, he might have got it for somewhere around $2K. Here's one in Alaska for $2.5K:

I have to agree that 14 oz. in 4 hrs seems unrealistic, although it could happen in a few extremely good crevices, but if it did I think they would have got some footage of the box before cleanup. It had to be yellow if there were 14 oz.s in there.

Todd is a dork, when the operator of a truck that size believes he is in an unsafe position, you don't make fun of him, you asses and fix the dangerous situation. Expensive equipment or a life can be lost very quickly....nothing to be taken lightly.

It came in the factory boxes
It was bran new never been used befor
You can't touch a newer used keene 4 hardly for that price

Look fellas if they were pulling up Hugh nuggets or anything to make ya think they were on that hot of a spot I might agree
But iv spent a lot of time underwater dredging and hit some nice spots running a monster 6" with 4of us diving moving the rock out of the way so the man running the nozzel can run full till and we never even cam close to getting 14 oz in 4 hours
That's the stuff dreams r made of
It's damm sure never gona happen to 2folks dredging blind they couldn't even see what they were dredging
I would bet they didn't even pull a 1oz out of there
Now if they had hit bed rock and clean it off with a dredge I'm sure they would have a payday but still don't believe it would be 14oz in 4 hours
But that would probaly be the best situation for them to run a dredge just because of what washes off the sides of that bucket in the water
There's to much small stuff the bucket could not get there and it would make for easy cleaning

They were on bedrock sucking out cracks and the bottom of that low spot in the bedrock.

Mine it and recycle it!

No they were not on bed rock on the bottom the creves and cracks they were working in the bed rock were on the slope or sides wall they were following down

But Fred was still diggin cobbles out of the bottom befor they flooded the hole a little to dredge besides think where Dustin was last week
All he wanted to do is dig the entire bottom out he never been for trying anything els out besides this now all of a sudden he all over running a dredge
I understand why he did it that little box with 14 oz in it would have looked like a mother lode but we never saw it in the box for good reason
He'll iv seen 1/4 oz in one of my four in and thought I'd hit the jackpot that box they had was only 4 in wider than my 4" that would have looked crazy there would have been gold every where in that box and if it had been that way they dam sure would have showed us

Just do some simple math here and you'll understand why I'm standing on this the way I am

The excavator will dig 2 yard scopes ! I scope in 1 min is working pretty slow
But let's go with that
That's 12o yards a hour
The dredge will at the very best do 9 yards a hour
Can you imagine how much better the materal would have to be for them to get 14 oz in 4 hours
And that's assuming that that they moved 9 yards per hour
The ratting of 9 yards per hour is only moving loose sand with no cobbles
With experience I can tell you that didn't even get close half of that
They probaly moved 3 yards cleaning holes and crevesing in the in tire 4 hours
That would be stretching it plus there blind they never even put a mask on
And the water was dirty iw old not haved helped if they did dive
Hey there's nothing wrong with dreaming here we all do it but for some to come on here and insult someone they don't even know
Well I guessed I ruined the dream
I dredge a lot and would love for something like that to be real but it's not
I don't have anything against keene all three of my dredges are keene I have 2 4" and 1 6" and there probaly with more since that aired
But the reality is they did some advertising for keene last week
Plus you need to look at Fred he's never gonna drop
5k to try something on a whim Hell look at the excavator he was running a week ago he would not even buy new parts for it
And the parts he needed probaly didn't cost as much as that dredge did and suddenly there gona jum out of new equipment and try dredging ?
Come on
The truth is they need to clean those holes out when they hit bed rock as in the floor of the hole
There's a good chance they will land some nice nuggets at the bottom and the excavator is never gona dig them
So dredging the holes when there done is smart but what you watched last week was a commercial for keene !

Well iv got a magic 6" dredge I can sell ya and just think of the riches you can get in just 4 hours well you saw it last weak I don't even have to tell ya
Just bring me some money and go get the riches
I don't want to hold ya back or stand in your way from getting all that gold
Just think what you could do in a weak of running
You could retire or just pay someone to get it for ya with that much gold you could just watch you woulnt have to even get wet!

Ahh maybe your right I just payed a lot of attention to what they were doing because they were dragging out a dredge and I know a little about them

And to have someone call me out like iv never seen one befor kinda ticked me off me off I just toont jump on someone like that without reason so it kinda start off a little wrong got me wound up a little
To be honest I wish I could believe that it was true but I a know better
Just bothers me how many people buy that line and spend a bunch of money they don't have think there gona make some instead they go broke
But I guess that's there own fault for not researching things
Pluss I'm wound a little tight to start with

What's sad is I run a business but can't hardly get thru some simple things in life.
I think it had something to do with being wound up too tight when I was a kid. Made it a little hard to pay attention in school.

I repair basements, foundations, waterproofing and structure repair

It hand on for me no grammar .
Selling mostly anymore and trying to juggle employees
Iv really been thinking of doing a gold dredge adventure thing taking folks dredging!
For a weekend. Or a day
Nobody does guide service and I think there's a huge demand for it .
Probaly a lot better money than what we find working alone around here alone .
Plus I would get to dredge more and there doesn't seem to be enough hour in the day to keep me happy
Ill put 10 hrs in if there's enough light in the day.
This grammar stuff sure slow me down a lot .

Don't think I'll find many folks who will dive with me in the cold
If the guide service doesn't work ill try nome I guess .
I'm gona visit this summer see what all the fuss is about
Ill be working ona 8" for 2 weeks ,can't wait !

Now don't get all jacked up again. I said you didn't sound like you knew anything about dredging because I have never seen anyone who dredges claim that that amount of gold "isn't possible". They are at the bottom of an ancient waterfall, the same formation where the old-timers pulled thousands of ounces. Fred has dug all the over burden from that spot and they WERE dredging the very bottom along the bedrock and in those GIANT cracks they showed. Just because the camera showed a few seconds of them sucking gravel from the side is meaningless.

I think their totals are completely believable for the location and depth combined with their recent washplant totals.

Well you saw something totally different than what I saw.

They told us very specificity that there were cleaning out cracks depressions in the wall !
Fred was,digging gravel and cobbles just befor they flooded the hole and I never saw where they dug it out to the bottom and there's a huge difference!
Also consider what his last payout was running his wash plant . If he was on that hot of a spot his clean outs our gona be a lot better than 20 oz
To corespondent with his dredge clean outs I'd figure they need to be at least 60 to 80 oz clean outs min.
Understand I'm cool explaining my position and why I'm thinking this way as long as I don't have someone jumping me,like that
The reason I feel the way I do is things don't add up by that I mean the vast difference in yardage difference in the two,styles,of,equipment
And for them to, have such a huge clean out for a 4hour run with any type of equipment moving the same volume even would be huge
But we just didn't go,from a week to four hours of run time we also jumped,to a machine that moves some 900 percent less materal
In a massive amount of,less time.

For,the laws on the keene label look how,many times you see things fuzzed out even when it's a Nike cap on a sport players hat or shirt
All od a sudden all I see is keene stickers LOUD and clear signal there
Besides it would have taken a lot longer to clean that hole . Even more so be caused they were working blind
And that's a supper tough thing to do dredging with no sight
