At least yours still has the gold plating. I found this one with my eyes at an old coal mine camp out behind where I live. I know the mine closed in 1938, but most of what I've found out there dates from the very late 19th C to the first quarter of the 20th C. My guess is your ring and the one I found date from maybe the 1890s to 1910s. They most likely had a colored glass stone imo. Just a real looking inexpensive ring purchased at the Five & Dime long ago.
