Gold Prospecting in Eastern Pa.

Can anybody provide any information on where gold has been found in Eastern Pa. I am in Allentown, Pa. and am looking for some gold bearing streams or creeks where I can go prospecting. Any help would be great.

I'd start looking for info /resources in your State's Department of Natural Resources for documents from your States Geologist's that have scoured your state lands that you paid for already . This will point you in the right direction as well as give you the State's view & laws on this ! local State Colledge's Geology Department's should have info to help you also !
